Job summary

TE-CO Manufacturing LLC is hiring a Raw Material Handler/Packer to keep raw materials and finished products moving efficiently. The role supports receiving, labeling, picking, and packing for a key TE-CO distributor, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday–Friday in our North Carolina facility. Family-owned culture, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of warehouse, shipping or receiving experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on forklift experience required; day-one capability.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math for counting, measuring and verifying quantities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and store incoming raw materials against purchase orders.
• Label materials with proper color codes per company standards.
• Pull materials for work orders and deliver to machining area.
• Monitor inventory and flag low stock to the right people.
• Conduct monthly cycle counts of raw materials and bolt blanks.
• Pick and package orders for a key distributor and prepare shipping docs.
• Operate tow motors, electric walk behind lifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, verify, and store incoming raw materials against purchase orders
• Label materials with proper color codes per company standards
• Pull materials for work orders and deliver them to the correct machining area
• Monitor inventory and flag low stock to the right people
• Conduct monthly cycle counts of raw materials and bolt blanks
• Pick and package orders for a key distributor of TE-CO products, verifying accuracy and preparing shipping documentation
• Operate tow motors, electric walk behind lifts, and pallet jacks safely to load, unload, and move freight
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 to 3 years of warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven, hands on forklift experience required. *

• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast paced environment
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities

*Forklift Experience: This is not an entry level training position. Candidates must be able to safely and confidently operate tow motors, electric walk behind lifts, and pallet jacks starting on day one. This role requires the ability to maneuver in tight spaces while safely handling and placing 12 ft bars of raw material onto storage racks.
