HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate, FL is inviting you to join our Anesthesia team. The role supports a balanced schedule with 17.3 weeks of work per year (1 week on / 2 weeks off) and a diverse case mix including OB, neuro/interventional, EP/TEE, and Endo.

You'll work with a well-established team of anesthesiologists and APPs in a 9 OR facility with OB and specialty coverage. BE/BC and proficiency in basic regional and OB anesthesia are required; we offer full benefits and professional

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology.
• Proficiency in regional and obstetric anesthesia.
• BE/BC required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for OB, neuro, EP/TEE, and endoscopy cases.
• Collaborate with Anesthesia Care Team to cover 9 ORs.
• Maintain patient safety and quality outcomes with established protocols.
• Participate in resident/fellow education and departmental initiatives.

Highlights of this opportunity:

• Work only 17.3 weeks a year: 1 week on / 2 weeks off: Mon-Sun 6p-7a then have 2 wk off
• Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, Term Life, paid malpractice with tail coverage and 401k
• Anesthesia Care Team is comprised of 9 General Anesthesiologists, 3 Cardiac Anesthesiologists, 5 Night float anesthesiologists, 13 APPs, and anesthesiology residents
• No hearts, no peds
• Case mix: B&B, OB, EP/TEE, Neuro/IR, Endo
• Approximately 125-150 OB Anesthetics per month
• 9 ORs, 2 OB ORs, Endo, EP and IR
• ACGME Accredited Anesthesiology Residency
• Must be proficient in basic regional and OB
• Must be BE/BC
