Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Territory Business Manager for the Rare Disease GI/Hepatology team in Bethesda, MD.

You will develop and execute territory plans, build relationships with target physicians, and drive pull-through with clinically focused presentations to communicate therapeutic value. The role requires 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales, GI/Hepatology or rare disease experience preferred, strong analytical skills, and a self-motivated, autonomous work style.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
  • GI/Hepatology/rare disease sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed sales goals in assigned territory by executing an integrated territory plan.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians to maximize opportunities.
  • Navigate a complex, matrixed selling environment with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Identify key influencers and meet customer interaction expectations.
  • Use data insights to determine strategies and drive business decisions.
  • Plan activities to ensure regular territory coverage and manage budget.
  • Complete administrative tasks timely and align with brand strategy.
  • Travel as needed with a valid driver’s license.
