Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Rare Disease-GPA/MPA and Sjögren's Disease to operate in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The role focuses on scientific exchange with key opinion leaders, delivering clinical data, and supporting Amgen's product strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent terminal degree in a related field.
• Master's degree with 3 years Medical Affairs experience, or Bachelor's with 5 years.
• Experience in Rare Disease-GPA/MPA and Sjögren's Disease preferred.
• Pharm.D./Ph.D./M.D./D.O. or other doctoral degrees considered.
• Strong scientific communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs and PHDMs.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy in the field.
• Provide balanced clinical data to healthcare providers.
• Support sponsored research and investigator-initiated studies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to support MSL strategies.
