Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Franklin, KY is seeking a production technician to run Itema rapier weaving looms and ensure high‑quality fabric output. This in‑person, full‑time role focuses on setup verification, changeovers, defect addressing, and safe operation.

You will perform routine maintenance, assist with doffing, keep records, and collaborate with maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly. A high school diploma or GED and hands‑on weaving experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting ability.
  • Keen eye for detail and dedication to quality.
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs and work an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

  • Run and oversee Itema rapier weaving looms for consistent, high‑quality output.
  • Execute pattern changeovers and verify correct machine setup.
  • Inspect woven goods, halt equipment to address defects, and resume efficiently.
  • Confirm doff lengths and pattern accuracy after each changeover.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and complete minor repairs on the spot.
  • Assist with doffing operations and collaborate with maintenance personnel.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on weaving equipment.
  • Keep your workstation clean and follow all safety and quality procedures.

If you know your way around industrial weaving equipment and enjoy hands-on problem solving, this role is for you.Compensation & SchedulePay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hourShift: Full-Time, 1st ShiftWork Location: In person (Franklin, KY)A day in the lifeYou start your shift by checking Itema rapier looms, confirming setups for the day’s patterns. As production runs, you keep a close eye on fabric quality—pausing machines to correct issues, making quick mechanical fixes, and documenting your adjustments. When it’s time for a new order, you handle the pattern changeover, verify settings, and confirm doff lengths and pattern accuracy before ramping back up.
