Job summary

Blanchard Machinery Company in Summerville, SC is seeking a Quick Turn Technician to perform basic maintenance on machines returned from rent and to keep the yard organized and clean.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and teamwork. You will perform rental turns, inspect equipment, and follow safety protocols while utilizing maintenance manuals and supporting parts inventory needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Possess mechanical aptitude and a desire to fix machinery.
• Must be a Team player that is enthusiastic and hardworking with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
• High degree of interpersonal skills with strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to use computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Performs rental turns and preventive maintenance on rental fleet.
• Inspect equipment for damage and operational functions; change oil filters; lube equipment; and replace parts on rental equipment.
• Read/use maintenance manuals to assist in repairs.
• Notify Service Manager of suspected customer damage immediately upon identification.
• Inform Service Manager of spare parts requirements, or when using stock parts from inventory for equipment repair.
• Follow equipment repair priority list as established by the Service Manager.
• Open work orders as needed.
• Maintains a clean, well-organized workstation.
• Complete all management requests, special assignments, or projects within the specified time.
• Assist Customers with loading/unloading of equipment.
