Job summary

UNM Hospitals seeks a rotating shift Paramedic/EMT to provide direct patient care under the Rapid Response Medical Director's guidelines. You will operate within the New Mexico EMS scope and UNM Hospitals policies, acting as a patient advocate while caring for diverse age groups.

Responsibilities include stabilizing patients, triaging emergencies on hospital property, documenting care, and supporting safety and quality initiatives while participating in ongoing education and development.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• EMS or related EMS education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under Medical Director guidelines.
• Operate within NM EMS scope and UNMH policies.
• Stabilize and triage patients across age groups.
