Job summary

Duncan Aviation seeks a Rapid Response Technician III to travel to customer sites and perform on-wing inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on corporate jets across the United States and abroad.

The role requires advanced technical skills, effective customer interaction, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position includes 24/7 rapid response coverage with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Must hold FAA A&P certificate with good standing.
• Minimum 5 years in corporate aviation maintenance focused on engines/airframes.
• Lead Technician or AOG experience with corporate flight departments, MROs, or OEMs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-wing inspections, troubleshooting and repair of aircraft/engine systems across various jets.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely sign-off on work orders and labor hours.
• Maintain customer relationships and communicate service options to meet financial goals.
• Manage projects from pre-planning to delivery, ensuring safety and quality.
• Maintain tool calibration and inventory, and ensure safe work conditions.
• Be a primary point of contact for customers before/after hours.
• Support lead technicians and train junior staff as needed.
