Qualifications

• CPR for Health Care Provider certification required.
• Emergency Driving Certification with ongoing training required.
• Knowledge of street systems and EMS equipment used in Basic Life Support.
• Ability to direct, mentor, and teach other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct rapid Basic Life Support to ill/injured patients.
• Recognize emergencies and perform differential diagnoses.
• Transports patients to medical facilities and maintains patient records.
• Communicate with hospital physicians and obtain treatment orders.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely and maintain equipment.
