The Workforce Group a LEMOINE company is seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team as Shelter Workers during emergency response operations. Shelter Workers provide direct support to shelter residents by assisting with daily services such as food distribution, intake, and facility cleanliness.

These are seasonal deployments across statewide sites to aid displaced communities during crises.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service or emergency response preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident intake, registration, and orientation.
• Distribute meals, hygiene items, bedding, and supplies.
• Monitor common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Support residents with general inquiries and special needs.
• Document incidents and report to Shelter Supervisor.
• Maintain shelter policies and safety procedures.
• Set up and break down shelter facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
