Job summary

Faac-Incorporated seeks a contractor to support Marine Corps range training systems at Quantico. The role gathers information to support GRSP/RTSP, reviews planning documents, and coordinates with DoD/USMC stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience sustaining military training systems through lifecycle engineering, modernization, field support, configuration management, and software sustainment.
  • Proven ability to analyze requirements and develop documentation such as memos, CAPs, and RTA consents.
  • Experience coordinating with DoD/USMC stakeholders and program offices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist GRSP development and RTSP support planning.
  • Gather information to support development of GRSP and RTSP programs.
  • Review training systems, planning documents, and investment strategies for RTAs.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders (e.g., PMTRASYS, OSD, NAVAIR, NAVSEA, USMC installations, Joint Services).
  • Draft and support development of USMC RTA Capabilities and Requirements Documents.
  • Conduct GRSP/RTS site visits and quarterly liaison with PMTRASYS.
  • Draft prioritization lists and agendas for annual boards with Fleet Marine Force input.

We are pipelining candidates for a future role. ***Contingent upon Contract Award***

RTAM RANGE TRAINING SYSTEMS SUPPORT

The contractor shall assist the Range Training Systems section head in range training systems support for training support centers and installation range controls. Support of range training systems, including but not limited to the following:

  • The contractor shall gather information to support development of the Ground Range Sustainment Program (GRSP).
  • The contractor shall gather information to support development of the Range Training Systems Program (RTSP).
  • The contractor shall provide assistance in technical, analytical, and review of USMC training systems and equipment, planning documents; assessing requirements, solutions, and investment strategies for RTAs to include joint operations, Opposing Forces, and space-based operations and submitting recommended actions to the Range Training Systems and Support section as required.
  • The contractor shall coordinate with stakeholders (e.g., Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Sea Systems Command, USMC Installations, Joint Services, and Combatant Commands) to support USMC activities associated with sustaining, upgrading and modernizing USMC range and training areas (RTA's).
  • The contractor shall draft and support the development of USMC RTA Capabilities and Requirements Documents including Requirements Memorandum, Capabilities Development Documents with supporting annexes, Capability Requirements Change, and Letters of Clarification.
  • The contractor shall Conduct GRSP and RTSP site visits to assist installations in developing and tracking requirements.
  • The contractor shall conduct liaison visits once per quarter with Program Manager Training Systems (PMTRASYS) to reconcile RTA status of requirements.
  • The contractor shall coordinate, develop and execute the annual GRSP/RTS prioritization boards by drafting the calling message, collecting/collating responses, drafting the agenda items, developing the draft prioritization list, collecting Fleet Marine Force input and developing the final prioritized list for CG TECOM signature.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience sustaining military training systems through lifecycle engineering, modernization, field support, configuration management, operational troubleshooting, software sustainment, and installation support across multiple Marine Corps and Army locations.
  • A Secret Security Clearance or Interim Secret Clearance is required prior to hiring.
