Job summary

Green Cell Consulting LLC is seeking a Range Safety Specialist to support Marine training operations in Bridgeport, CA. The role focuses on hands-on range safety, inspections, risk management, RFMSS support, and oversight of training activities in a demanding environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience as a Range Safety Officer or related roles, possess a high school diploma, and be prepared for 24/7 operations with travel to U.S. military installations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Range Safety Distance Learning Course (MarineNet) recommended.
• RFMSS Fundamentals knowledge or related training appreciated.
• Inter-Service Range Safety Course familiarity desired.

Responsibilities

• Make recommendations to resolve range and safety conflicts not covered by SOPs.
• Conduct semiannual reviews of RFMSS facility, event, ammunition, and environmental conflicts.
• Inspect ranges for safety and readiness; ensure compliance with standards.
• Deliver range incident reports using RFMSS tools.
• Provide on-site safety briefs and support to training units.
