Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attend to livestock on the range and administer medication or treat injuries.
• Assist with loading/unloading livestock according to schedules; sort and manage culls.
• Care for newborns, pregnant livestock, and monitor births; record offspring.
• Feed and water livestock, tend to dogs and horses, and guard against hazards.
• Repair and maintain fences and facilities; move livestock to grazing areas as needed.
• Identify poisonous plants, monitor for health issues, and manage grazing areas.
