Job summary

Alaska Airlines is seeking a Ramp Service Agent to support under-wing operations in a fast-paced, union-represented role. You will load/offload luggage and cargo, transport items across the ramp, and marshal aircraft to keep flights moving safely.

The job requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 75 lbs, and the stamina to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Strong English communication and good attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid, unexpired U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach for long shifts outdoors.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18 and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and offload luggage and cargo using conveyors or forklifts.
• Transport luggage to airport locations and maintain ramp areas.
• Marshaling and push back aircraft.
• Ensure safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
