Job summary

Springtide Project Services, a division of IPS, is seeking a Ramp Engineer to work onsite in Malta, NY, supporting semiconductor tool installation projects. You will coordinate with engineers, OEMs, and trades to ensure tool commissioning and sign-off are completed efficiently.

The role emphasizes collaboration across facilities teams, cost tracking, and ensuring safe, accurate setup of complex manufacturing equipment with Tier 1/2 services and IT integration.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or related experience with a proven history of success.
• Direct experience interfacing with Tool Owners, Equipment Engineers, A&E, GC and trades contractors.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment installation roles with cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on advanced technology facilities and projects.
• Oversee installation of semiconductor equipment from design through tool qualification, interfacing with engineers and contractors.
• Track cost trends and provide feedback to reduce construction durations and installation costs.
• Review tool installation design drawings and validate against Fab design as-built state.
• Coordinate equipment move-in, site readiness, and correct setting locations.
• Support IT systems connections and testing for manufacturing equipment and document qualification data.
