Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a logistics ops coordinator responsible for coordinating trunk aircraft loading/unloading and may perform courier/tractor-trailer driver duties. The role requires safe execution, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to FMCSA and FedEx procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Coordinates all operations relating to the interface between trunk aircraft loading/unloading activities; may perform job duties and responsibilities required of a courier and/or tractor-trailer driver. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures. Ability to lift 50 Lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 Lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to operate GSE. Ability to successfully complete basic and/or re-currency training/testing. Knowledge of timekeeping/FedEx Computer Systems. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Must meet qualifications as outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions:

FMCSA covered safety sensitive position. Medical exam required. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, pcp, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids.

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must obtain & maintain valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) & a hazardous materials endorsement (HME) for type of vehicle assigned within 90 days & have good driving record as outlined in policy.

Pay Transparency:

Pay: $25.09 - $33.84

Additional Details: Full Time Tuesday - Saturday AM Shift
