Job summary

McGee Air Services seeks a Ramp Agent to join our outdoor ground operations team. You will load/unload baggage, assist with cargo, and help keep flights on schedule with careful handling and teamwork.

The role demands physical fitness, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to operate ground equipment. A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain airport clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to pass a physical capability test.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport SIDA badge, US Customs seal, and USPS clearance.
• Ability to work any shift, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Lifting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others.
• Ability to follow English oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage and cargo to and from aircraft.
• Sort and route checked baggage by destination and priority.
• Ensure timely delivery of baggage to outbound flights.
• Guide aircraft from the gate using hand signals and procedures.
• Service aircraft water and lavatory.
• Operate ground equipment and baggage handling systems.
• Maintain communication with flight crews and ground staff.
• Adhere to safety and security requirements.
