Job Summary

Ramp agents provide essential under-wing ground support services, including loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling, and water and lavatory servicing.

The expected pay rate is $19/hr. Full-time employees enjoy health and wellness benefits, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.

Your activities

• Marshal aircraft during arrival and departure
• Unload passenger luggage and cargo onto carts or dollies
• Unload wheelchairs and strollers, delivering them to designated locations
• Handle special luggage/cargo as required
• Deliver luggage to claim areas and unload onto conveyor systems
• Deliver air cargo to recipients
• Operate ground support equipment such as tow tractors, belt loaders, baggage tugs, and service trucks
• Load mail, live animals, wheelchairs, and strollers onto aircraft
• Service aircraft water and lavatories
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove when necessary
• Report equipment malfunctions
• Comply with all security requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Your profile

• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Previous ramp experience is advantageous
• Valid driver's license
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Flexible to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Ability to lift objects up to 70 pounds (32 kg)
