Job summary

Menzies Aviation at Denver International Airport is seeking a Ramp Agent to unload and load luggage and cargo, and to operate small vehicles around the ramp. You will support baggage handling and aircraft servicing in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

The full-time role requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, a valid US driver’s license, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Compensation starts at $21/hour with a $40 monthly transit voucher or free parking, plus benefits.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Possess and maintain a valid US driver's license.
  • Read, write and speak English proficiently.
  • Available and flexible to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Unload and load luggage, freight and cargo on/off aircraft.
  • Transport cargo and baggage between aircraft, terminals and facilities.
  • Follow weight/balance loading instructions and safety procedures.
  • Ensure safe operations according to health, safety and security rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Role Purpose

As a Menzies Aviation Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for unloading and loading of luggage, freight and cargo on and off commercial aircraft, in the outbound bag room and the baggage claim area. Driving and operating small specialized commercial vehicles. Position requires: heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, and frequent kneeling.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Comfortably and continuously lift/move 70lbs of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft
  • Transport (Drive) cargo and baggage between aircraft, airport terminals, and air cargo facilities
  • Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags
  • Ensure safe and secure operations, in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security, and all government statutory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Possess and maintain valid US driver's license
  • Pass all pre-employment testing including a drug screen, FBI background, and employment history.
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
