Advaita Health in Raleigh is seeking a Medical Director psychiatrist to lead and support a talented medical team. This role balances patient care with clinical leadership, maintaining approximately 15–20 patient-facing hours per week while supervising 6–8 Advanced Practice Providers.

You will collaborate across psychiatry, outpatient therapy, and substance use and mental health treatment programs, shaping clinical practice and program growth within a collaborative, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
• Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
• Completion of a subspecialty fellowship is desirable.
• Three or more years of behavioral health experience preferred.
• Current, unrestricted North Carolina medical license.
• Current, unrestricted DEA registration.
• Previous experience supervising or providing clinical leadership to APPs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to APPs.
• Maintain approximately 15–20 patient-facing hours per week.
• Lead collaboration across psychiatry, therapy, and treatment programs.
• Contribute to growth and development of the Medical Department.
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

This role maintains approximately 15–20 patient-facing hours per week while providing clinical leadership and supervision to 6–8 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
