Job summary

Stadler is seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer to join a team building state-of-the-art passenger trains. You will design electrical enclosures, cabinets, cable ducts, and harnesses, and integrate these components into vehicles.

You will develop wiring overviews from system diagrams, generate specifications, and create technical documentation while coordinating with procurement, production, and commissioning teams to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in railway/defense/automotive/aerospace.
• Ability to interpret and implement electrical schematics.
• Experience with PLM/ECN systems (SmarTeam).
• Strong written and verbal communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate electrical enclosures, cabinets, cable ducts, and harnesses.
• Develop wiring overviews from system diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Generate concepts, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Provide support to Procurement, Production, and Commissioning departments.
• Integrate electrical systems into vehicles.
• Coordinate with installation planning, mechanical engineering, fire protection, car body engineering, etc.
