American Track in Wisconsin is seeking workers for railroad maintenance and construction. The role involves carrying and placing track materials, installing tracks, and performing maintenance across various sites.

The team emphasizes safety and training to support growth within a collaborative environment. The position requires the ability to travel to multiple job sites, endure extreme weather, pass pre-employment screenings, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass assessments/training and undergo background check and drug testing.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Willing to travel to various job sites and work in all weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Carry and place track materials using standard railroad maintenance tools.
• Install railroad tracks and embankments including crossing signage and lubricator.
• Perform maintenance and construction activities such as changing rails and ties, and adjusting switches.
• Operate picks, shovels, spike mauls, and other power tools.
• Attend after-hour and weekend callouts to repair track damage from derailments.
• Assist in re-rail of train cars and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Wear safety equipment and report hazards as required.
