Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is looking for a Railroad Production Crew Operator in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for the hands-on construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of railroad track infrastructure. Key responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, installing track components, and following safety protocols. Applicants should possess the ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors and have a willingness to travel. A basic mechanical aptitude and prior railroad experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Prior railroad or heavy construction experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with heavy equipment and specialized railroad machinery.
• Install, replace, and maintain cross ties, rail, spikes, bolts, and track hardware.
• Perform ballast work including undercutting, surfacing, and lining of track.
• Follow all railroad flagging and safety protocols.
• Work in accordance with track foreman/supervisor direction.
