Job summary

American Track is seeking workers to support railroad maintenance and construction efforts. You will carry and place track materials, install rails and embankments, and perform maintenance tasks across various sites.

Role requires the ability to travel to job sites, work outdoors in all weather, and pass background checks/drug tests. Training is provided for all field and office work as part of our ongoing development program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to pass assessments, background check, drug screen.
• Willing to travel to various job sites and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Carry and place track materials using standard railroad tools.
• Install rails, embankments, road crossing signage, and rail lubricator.
• Perform track maintenance and construction tasks such as changing rail and ties, building track, and adjusting switches.
• Operate hand tools and power tools; work with safety equipment at all times.
• Respond to after-hours callouts to repair track damage and derails.
