Job summary

CPKC, North America’s first transnational railroad, is seeking a Road Foreman in Enderlin, North Dakota. You will educate, promote and monitor safe work practices of operating crews, ensuring compliance with operating rules and safety policies while improving locomotive operations.

Responsibilities include field evaluations, coordinating training for conductors and locomotive engineers, and providing on-call support for 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to relay instruction to crews.

Responsibilities

• Perform locomotive engineer train crew field evaluations.
• Plan and execute remedial training activities for those found deficient.
• Coordinate new hire training for conductors and locomotive engineers.
• Oversee triennial recertification training for conductors and locomotive engineers.
• Provide input to training content based on field evaluations and testing.
• Deliver skills training for conductors and locomotive engineers.
• Provide on-call support and emergency response for 24/7 operations.
