Qualifikationen

• Must have strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years' railroad experience, preferably in maintenance of way or TY&E.
• Must successfully complete all required training.

Aufgaben

• A safety-focused contractor overseeing worksite safety and flagging as needed.
• Conduct job briefings and ensure FRA 49 CFR 214 compliance when near tracks.
• Monitor track conditions, approaching trains, and work activities for safety.
• Coordinate train movements with dispatchers and supervisors via radio/phone/electronic systems.
• Document all activities: briefings, incident reports, logs, and forms for management and regulators.
• Enforce Railroad, State, and Federal policies.
