National Railroad Safety Services, Inc. (NRSS) is hiring a Railroad Flagger to ensure worker safety on train tracks by coordinating train movements and enforcing federal safety rules. The role supports major railroads, smaller lines, transit systems, and state projects.

The candidate will travel extensively (50–85%), bring strong organizational and communication skills, and maintain on-track safety per federal regulations while completing daily activity reports. High school diploma required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of experience with rail industry or related safety roles.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English and follow safety protocols.
• Experience with field safety staff coordination is a plus.

• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, train crews, railroad staff, and contractors.
• Lead safety briefings before work begins.
• Follow and enforce all railroad, state, and federal rules.
• Ensure contractors meet training requirements.

• Maintain on-track safety following federal regulations.
