Job summary

Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Cleaner to perform all aspects of car cleaning including inspection and care of equipment used in cleaning processes.

You will work in environments requiring entry into confined spaces, physical activity, and adherence to safety protocols, including PPE usage and fall protection. Drug screening is required and equal employment opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to enter confined spaces wearing movement and sight restricting PPE with limited lighting to clean.
• Clean interior of tank and hopper cars in compliance with Tactical Cleaning policies and procedures.
• Inspect clean railcars interiors for compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner and report potential hazards.
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights exceeding 4 feet off the ground with proper PPE and fall protection.
• Able to pass drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Clean railcars interiors and exteriors as required.
• Inspect cleaned cars to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report hazards.
• Assist with moving and handling of equipment and materials.
• Comply with PPE and safety protocols at all times.
