Pacific Rail Services is seeking a Jockey Driver at the Norfolk Southern Portlock Terminal in Norfolk, VA. No prior experience is required, as paid on-the-job training is provided to build a long-term career in rail and logistics.

You will operate a jockey truck, perform ground duties, and participate in stacking and organizing equipment. The role offers steady hours, overtime, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check.
• Must pass a drug test and physical strength test.
• Must live within 45 minutes of Norfolk, VA.

Responsibilities

• Operate a jockey truck to move 53-foot trailers, containers, and chassis within the rail yard.
• Perform ground duties such as climbing railcars, operating track locks, and handling IBCs.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment by working alongside operators and using hand signals.
• Participate in stacking and unstacking chassis and organizing racks.
• Perform additional duties to support daily operations.
