Job summary

STV is seeking a Rail Vehicle Quality Inspector to work at a client yard site in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on inspecting and verifying rail car systems in yard and maintenance environments, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of inspection experience in rail manufacturing and quality oversight, with knowledge of rail vehicle subsystems and QA programs. Travel across the United States rail programs may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical School or Community College Education or equivalent job experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of Rail inspection experience.
• Experience Rail Vehicle Systems, and quality control programs and activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of Rail Vehicle manufacturing and design changes at client yard locations.
• Perform supplier audits and prepare reports for program management and client.
• Prepare weekly status reports for program management and client.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and practices of the Rail Vehicle industry.
