Responsibilities

• Inspect track structure for policy compliance.
• Detect deviations from federal/state rules.
• Direct or repair track-structure defects.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to regulations.
• Prepare inspection reports for management and government compliance.
• Learn and apply applicable rules, regulations, and policies.
• Perform special inspections during severe weather or other events.
• Support efficient railroad operations and other duties as assigned.
