Overview

Now Hiring for Pacific Rail Services working at St. Louis Rail Terminal. Start immediately in a recession-proof industry. We’re hiring for an entry-level position that combines Hostler Driver and Ground Person duties. We provide on-the-job training—you’ll learn everything you need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Operate jockey trucks to move 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis around the rail yard.
• Perform ground duties like climbing on/off railcars, securing tracks, and handling inner box connectors (IBCs).
• Assist crane operators and side loaders using hand signals for safe loading/unloading.
• Stack/unstack chassis and manage chassis racks.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Starting Pay

• $20.00/hr with no experience.
• Higher starting rate available for experienced jockey drivers.

Shifts Available

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12 hours).
• 2nd Shift: 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM (10 hours).

Applicants must live within 45 minutes of St. Louis. Out-of-area candidates or those needing relocation will not be considered. This position is a great fit for individuals with experience in warehouse work, delivery driving, forklift operation, outdoor labor, landscaping, or rail yard operations.
