Job description

The Rail Terminal Truck Mechanic position is available at the BNSF Alliance, TX Rail Terminal. Applicants Must currently live within a 45 minute commute of Haslet, TX. Candidates who are out of area or who require relocation will not be considered.

Shift

• Wednesday through Sunday
• 2pm to midnight (10 hour shifts)

Pay

$21 - $24 per hour to start, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical field experience and preventative maintenance mindset.
• Must have own tools; annual tool allowance provided.
• Experience with Air, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Diesel systems and components.
• Valid driver’s license.

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hostler fleet, forklifts, and company vehicles.
• Maintain Hostler Fleet.
• Welding and fabricating.
• Work on electrical components.
• Routine maintenance.
• Assist in other areas as needed by managers.
