Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Section Engineer based in Bristol for a Tier 1 Civil Engineering contractor. The role involves constructing footbridges and rail bridges and managing significant upgrade projects for Network Rail. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil Engineering and prior rail/structures experience. Strong understanding of Network Rail procedures is preferred, along with a valid PTS card and a full UK driving license. This role offers a salary between £35,000 and £42,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Previous experience as Site Engineer or Section Engineer.
• Worked for a main contractor on Rail/Structures projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the safety/environmental/sustainability standards on site.
• Manage the Quality and Assurance aspects of the works.
• Supervise and manage staff and subcontractors.
