Job summary

Alstom in New Castle, Delaware is seeking a Depot Logistics Operator to manage inbound receipts, storage, movement, and outbound shipments. You will work with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Transportation and Operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy and on-time deliveries.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2 years in warehouse/logistics, knowledge of receiving, shipping, ERP systems (SAP), and forklift certification, plus strong communication and organizational skills, with an

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or inventory operations
Experience or understanding of receiving, inventory control, shipping, and material handling processes
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
Familiarity with SAP or another ERP system
Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain and maintain certification
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of domestic and international shipping requirements
Hazardous Materials certification or experience packaging dangerous goods is a plus

Responsibilities

Processing inbound receipts, goods movements, and outbound shipments accurately and within established timelines
Maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, location management, and physical inventory participation
Supporting domestic and international shipping activities, including required documentation
Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
Delivering high-quality service to internal and external customers through responsive and accurate material support
