Job summary

Professional Transportation, Inc. is seeking crew transport drivers in New Orleans, LA. This part-time role involves safely transporting railroad crew members to requested destinations with emphasis on safety and on-time performance.

No prior professional driving experience is required, and we offer on-the-job training. Compensation starts at $13.00 per hour for DYV drivers and $14.00 per hour for OTR drivers, with company-provided vehicles, health insurance options, paid vacation, and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related).
• Pass post-offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check.
• Arrive to the branch location within 30 minutes to ensure on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Promoting and practicing safety awareness.
• Prioritize on time performance to meet customer needs.
• Pick up and drop off passengers safely to their destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate timely with our Dispatch Center.
• Open and close all doors/hatches for crew members.
• Report defects or issues found during vehicle inspection to supervisor.
• Promote and follow all company policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
