Job summary

Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) is seeking Crew Transport Drivers in Raleigh, NC. Starting pay for DYV/OTR drivers is $14.00–$15.00 per hour. PTI provides company vehicles and fuel, health plans, vacation, 401(k), and growth opportunities.

As a PTI Van Driver, you will safely transport railroad crew members to requested locations. No prior professional driving experience is required for the role; safety remains the top priority on every trip.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related).
• Must pass a post offer drug screening, MVR, and Homeland Security background check.
• Be able to arrive at the branch within 30 minutes to ensure on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Promoting and practicing safety awareness.
• Prioritize on-time performance to meet customer needs.
• Pick up and drop off customers safely to their destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate timely with our Dispatch Center.
• Open and close all doors/hatches for the crew members.
• Report defects or issues found during vehicle inspections to supervisor.
• Promote and follow all company policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
