Job summary

Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) is hiring part-time van drivers in Jesup, GA to transport railroad crew members safely and on time. Starting pay is $13.00 per hour for DYV drivers and $14.00 per hour for OTR drivers.

PTI offers company provided vehicles and fuel, health insurance options, paid vacation, 401(k), safety awards, on-the-job training, and growth opportunities. Must be 21+, hold a valid license with a clean record, have 3+ years driving experience, and pass standard

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related).
• Must pass post offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check.
• Be able to arrive at the branch location within 30 minutes for on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Promote and practice safety awareness.
• Prioritize on-time performance to meet customer needs.
• Pickup and drop off customers safely to their destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with Dispatch Center.
• Open and close doors/hatches for crew members.
• Report defects or issues found during vehicle inspection to supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
