Job summary

Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) is seeking van drivers to safely transport railroad crews in Spartanburg, SC. Starting pay is $14.00/hour for DYV drivers and $15.00/hour for OTR drivers.

No prior professional driving experience is required, and home every day. PTI provides company vehicles and fuel during trips, plus benefits and growth opportunities. Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related)
• Must be able to pass a post offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check
• Be able to arrive to the branch location within 30 minutes to ensure on-time performance is achieved

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting railroad crew members wherever the railroad requests
• Promoting and practicing safety awareness
• Prioritize on time performance to meet customer needs
• Provide excellent customer service
• Communicate timely with Dispatch Center
• Open and close all doors/hatches for crew members
• Report defects or issues found during vehicle inspection
