Qualifications

• Backhoe operation experience required or preferred.
• Railroad construction knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to understand instructions and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Set up and safely operate heavy construction equipment.
• Perform daily maintenance and keep equipment clean.
• Grade earth, move material, and coordinate with crew.
• Lead crew and assist as needed.
• Identify underground utilities before work.
• Train others on machine operation when required.
