Job summary

SimVentions, Inc in Virginia is seeking a Junior/Mid-Level AI/ML Engineer specializing in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to help build AI capabilities within an emerging MLOps platform.

You will design reusable RAG pipelines, integrate embedding models and vector databases, and enable retrieval and LLM-based generation for multiple customer projects.

Minimal CONUS travel is required; an interim Secret Clearance is required and US citizenship is needed to obtain clearance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with GO, Python, JavaScript, and Vue.js
• Experience with databases, S3 or similar storage, and data retrieval
• Foundational knowledge of ML concepts and ML model lifecycle
• Understanding CPU/GPU usage for ML and training
• Experience integrating SDKs and APIs

Responsibilities

• Expand and enhance automation in the MLOPS ecosystem
• Automate model training processes for repeatability
• Design scalable architecture for data sources and model outputs
• Inject configuration management of data sources and model output
