SWAT Environmental is seeking a field technician to install radon mitigation systems and inspect homes for optimal placement in the Greenwood, IN area. The role includes paid training and certification, plus a company vehicle for daily use.
Candidate should have hands-on trade skills, a valid driver's license, and comfort with ladders, confined spaces, and basic tech tools. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and room for advancement.
At SWAT Environmental, we install “Radon Mitigation Systems” protect homes and businesses across the nation from the harmful effects of "Radon", which is a naturally occurring, radioactive gas that escapes when uranium in the soil decays and can become concentrated in a home, seeping through cracks and openings in the foundation (basements). The EPA recommends that structures testing above 4 pCi/L (picocuries per liter) have a Radon Mitigation System installed.
