Job summary

Cardinal Health in Richmond, VA is seeking a route delivery driver to transport radiopharmaceuticals to customer accounts using a company vehicle (non-CDL). The shift is typically 2:00 am–10:00 am, Monday–Friday, with potential early starts and overtime based on business needs.

You will deliver and package medications, scan orders with a handheld tablet, load/unload, and help keep vehicles in good condition. Intermittent holidays and weekend work are required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Willingness to learn quality control and dispatching duties
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required
• May assist and learn quality control and dispatching duties
