Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Delivery Associate to ensure prompt delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers. The role is 40 hours per week, Sunday through Thursday, 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, with rotating holidays and on-call one week per month.

A $1,000 new hire sign-on bonus is offered and flexibility is required. You will prepare shipments, load/unload containers, scan orders on a handheld tablet, and maintain vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to drive.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Able to drive in all weather and varying hours.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and stay mobile for extended periods.
• Work varied schedules including overtime as needed.
• Comfortable in a nuclear environment.
• Proficient with computers and tablets.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Delivery driving experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic English reading/writing for documents.
• Vendor credentialing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl).
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers.
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation.
• Processes packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs.
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required.
