Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Nuclear Manufacturing specialist to produce radiopharmaceuticals in a strict, regulated setting. The role involves setup of synthesis, QC testing, and environmental monitoring, with shifts including nights and overtime as needed.

You will work in ISO-cleanroom environments, coordinate production runs, maintain records, and support regional facilities as required. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with HPLC (and GC preferred).
• Willing to travel up to 15% within the region.
• 0–2 years of experience preferred.
• Lab experience preferred; follow detailed instructions.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and differentiate colors in solutions.
• Shift availability for overnight/night operations.
• Manufacturing experience in controlled environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture radioactive isotopes including setup and distribution.
• Perform QC testing with HPLC, GC, dose calibrator, and other instruments.
• Environmental and personnel monitoring in ISO 5/7/8 environments.
• Operate in ISO 7 cleanroom to prepare product and customer vials.
• Coordinate daily production runs based on customer needs.
• Maintain daily production records and reports with proper documentation.
• Manage SAP inventory and material inspection.
• Daily radiation safety tasks and general lab cleaning.
• Provide feedback on method development during tech transfer.
• Troubleshoot equipment and communicate with external sponsors.
• Collaborate with regional facilities as needed.
