Description:The Radiologic Technologist I in Urgent Care works under the supervision of the Urgent Care Supervisor.The role involves performing general radiographic studies to established quality assurance criteria.This position is responsible for producing radiographs and organizing images.Completing required paperwork and charges is essential.Ensuring patient safety and well-being during examinations is a critical responsibility.The technologist assists and instructs patients throughout the examination process.Additional clerical duties will be carried out as assigned.All equipment malfunctions must be reported.Cleaning and inspecting equipment prior to use is expected.When radiologic studies are not being performed, staffing may shift to Patient Services Representative duties.The role includes performing front office duties of moderate scope and complexity.This involves interacting with patients regarding their care provider selection and insurance eligibility.Collecting co-payments and reconciling payments at the end of the shift is required.Ensuring the accuracy of demographic and insurance information is crucial.Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
