North Mississippi Health Services is offering an Intern - Radiology position in the Radiology Ultrasound department. The intern will assist with patient care tasks under the supervision of a Registered Staff Technician/Sonographer and participate in diagnostic procedures and patient interactions.

The role emphasizes communication with patients and staff, adherence to policies, and ongoing attendance at in-services and educational programs.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication required.
• Experience interacting with a patient population of all ages is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Operates under supervision of a Registered Staff Tech/Sonographer.

Responsabilités

• Performs high quality/cost-effective diagnostic procedures under supervision.
• Assists Physicians and medical staff during procedures as requested.
• Provides excellent customer service in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Communicates effectively with patients, family members, Physicians, other medical staff and NMHC staff.
• Attends required in-services and educational programs.
• Complies with NMHS/NMMC policies and guidelines.
