Job summary

Connecthcs's client hospital near Charlotte, NC is seeking Radiology Techs to join their imaging team. Multiple shifts available with a generous sign-on bonus. Radiologic exams and fluoroscopic procedures will be performed under the direction of the Radiologist, with patient history coordination and clerical duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT(R) certification required; CPR certification required.
• Ability to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic exams and related clerical duties.
• Confirms patient identity and documents history for procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required, under radiologist direction.
• Maintains records according to departmental standards.

Job description

Our client, a hospital located near Charlotte, NC, has a need for several Radiology Techs join their team.

They are offering a large sign on bonus!

Shifts Available:

• M-F 7a-3:30p
• M-Tu-W-F - 7a-5:30p
• M-Th, 7a-5:30p
• W-F, 7a-7:30p
• M-Th, 10a-8:30p
• F-Su, 7p-7a
• Weekend Days 7:00a- 7:00p (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday).
• Tuesday-Friday 1:00P-11:30p or 4/10's Mon-Thurs 2pm to 12:30am

Performs with minimal supervision radiographic examinations under the direction of the Radiologist. Coordinates daily activities including performing examinations and associated clerical duties.

Major Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Job Requirements

Education

Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology.

Certification / License

Must be ARRT (R). CPR certification required.
