Memorial Health System in Marietta, OH is seeking a Radiology Technology Assistant (PRN) to support imaging services, assist with exams, and provide patient care. The role includes clerical duties, room preparation, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
The candidate should be a high school graduate, enrolled in or having completed a radiologic technology or sonography program, with BLS certification. Training will occur during orientation.
Job Details: Job Location: Marietta, OH 45750, Position Type: PRN, Job Shift: Varies as scheduled, Job Category: Clinical Support, In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Radiology Technology Assistant is responsible for assisting members of the patient care team and providing a broad range of health care services such as: patient check-in, exam review, preparation for the visit, patient education, assistance with exams and procedures, and patient transporting and is trained to use a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, and software. The Radiology Technology Assistant may be assigned to work in a variety of imaging sections, assist multiple radiology modalities and/or clinical services per operational needs at the various locations of Memorial Health Systems. The Radiology Technology Assistant will assist with exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups and performs patient assessment within the scope of practice. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.
Compensation Details: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
