Job summary

Sioux Center Health in Cresco, IA seeks a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and assist physicians with various imaging modalities. The role includes on-call weekend coverage from Friday 5:30pm to Monday 6:00am and involvement with CT and DEXA scanning under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma, graduation from an AMA Accredited Radiography Program with ARRT/ARCRT, Iowa permit to practice, and BLS certification or within 3 months of employment.

Qualifications

• Permit to practice from the State of Iowa.
• BLS (CPR) certified or obtained within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures and assist physicians and Radiologist with indicated image modalities.
• Independently perform general radiography and additional modalities such as CT and DEXA while applying professional judgment.
• Provide on-call support and participate in weekend on-call schedule (Friday 5:30pm to Monday 6:00am).

Position Highlights

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the knowledge and capabilities to perform radiographic procedures and to assist physicians and Radiologist with image modalities listed in the Radiology Procedures Manual. Responsible in the participation of (call) support and must be able to perform general radiographic and additional modalities such as CT and Dexa, scan procedures independently while exercising professional judgment in the performance of procedures.

• This position is weekend package only: on call from5:30pm Friday to 6am Monday
